At the second light, turn right again into Gate 8 of the Naval Academy. Macdonough Hall is several hundred meters past Gate 8 on the left side of the academic buildings and next to the soccer and track and field facilities. Signs will be posted from Gate 8, guiding visitors to the parking near the pool location at Macdonough Hall.

PARKING: Following 9/11, security has been tightened on all DoD facilities. Normally vehicles without Department of Defense vehicle permits are not allowed to drive onto the academy’s grounds. We have made special arrangements for this weekend for these permits. Any vehicles without special permits must park outside the Academy grounds and walk to Macdonough Hall. Please see VEHICLE PASSES below.

GATE ENTRY: Every civilian visitor, over the age of 16, entering the academy should be prepared to show a photograph identification card and have his/her bags searched.

VEHICLE PASSES: NAAC will obtain temporary vehicle passes for Coaches, Officials and swimmer families. To obtain a pass, the coaches must e-mail CDR Robert McWhorter (robert.mcwhorter@gmail.com) no later than May 25 with the total number of passes needed for their teams. The appropriate number of passes will be mailed in a single package to the coaches or designated representatives, who should complete each pass with the driver’s full name, the make, model, and color of the vehicle, along with the license plate number and the state of issuance. The passes will be mailed to the coaches, so they must include their addresses in the requests to Bob McWhorter. One request only per teams. Officials can obtain passes directly via the same procedure. Watch the meet website (www.naacswim.org/abuster/home.html) for up-to-date information about the vehicle pass requirement.
